Product Description 

AnTec C-98 kaolin is an engineered and structured calcined 

kaolin featuring ultra-high brightness. It has been dehydroxylated 

by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystalline-bound 

hydroxyl groups and to improve brightness. AnTec C-98 kaolin 

is highly pulverized for better dispersion. 

Application information 

AnTec C-98 calcined kaolin extender pigment imparts high 

opacity and good tint strength to paints and is a 

very costeffective extender for TiO2. It is a fine 

particle size calcined kaolin extender pigment that 

may be used in a wide range of aqueous or solvent-borne 

flat, eggshell, semigloss and specialty paints. It can

also be used in printing inks, rubber, polishes and 

other applications. The high brightness of AnTec C-98

is suitable for applications where brighter whiteness 

and cleaner colors are needed.
